HD 100% Dielectric Silicone Grease
HD 100% Dielectric Silicone Grease insulates, lubricates, seals and protects electrical systems, components and connectors. This high dielectric strength, silicone-based grease waterproofs and protects against salt, dirt, moisture, dust and other contaminants as well as stray current. HD 100% Dielectric Silicone Grease is ideal for use on ignition systems, electrical assemblies and terminals, disconnect junctions, cable connectors, battery terminals and more in standard, marine and aviation environments.
Nonconductive HD 100% Dielectric Silicone Grease can be applied to electrical connectors, particularly ones which contain rubber gaskets, as a way to provide a lubricant and sealer for the rubber portions of the connector. It’s ideal for high-voltage connections such as spark plugs by applying the grease to the rubber boot of the plug wire. This not only helps the rubber boot slide onto the ceramic insulator, but acts to seal the boot as well. Electrical connectors are often located in areas of high temperature, and HD 100% Dielectric Silicone Grease is formulated to withstand temperature extremes
